I'm not too sure how much I'll be on the internet. My life has really taken off in the last few months. I have a new job that requires me to travel a lot. I also have a new boyfriend, but he doesn't require too much travel ;)

But honestly, I don't know if my currently unfinished fanfics will ever be finished. I'll try, but there's no real guarantee.

Part of me is very happy and excited to be going places, but there's also a part of me that's sad. I do enjoy y!, LJ, etc and the company of all you guys a lot. I'm really hoping that I have at least a bit of time to come here and visit even if I have no time to write.

And for some reason File Den has deleted all my files... which really pisses me off. I'm trying to find out why now.

So a friend of my mother's owns an art studio and once in a while she'll call me up and ask if I can model for some of her classes because hey, it's extra money! $200 for two two hour classes!

Today she calls me up and asks if I'd mind posing nude on the same platform with a guy. I said that I didn't mind at all and went on my merry way for one of her afternoon classes. So I'm standing there in my robe waiting for my "platform buddy" to show and holy crap... the guy that walks in the room is just fucking gorgeous. Dark hair, green eyes, and a great smile. Just... guh, lol!! That's the thing I love about nude modeling. You get to see some really cute nekkid buns once in a while! XD

Anyway, his name is Zakai and he's funny and sweet and has some of the most wicked tattoos I've ever seen. They looked like something my dad would design. We didn't get to talk much (because of course you're not allowed to talk) but we did exchange numbers at the end of the class and I'm hoping to see more of him (pun not entirely intended XD) in the future.

No work today thankfully, but back to work tomorrow!! Came home yesterday morning. I was impressed. My dad only called twice while Auron and I were gone. Once to see if we made it to the lodge and again a few days later to ask me how to beat Wesker and his "assisstant" in RE5, lol.

The drive home was pretty good. It was rather windy, but nothing I hadn't driven in before. Spent the rest of my Sunday playing street hockey with my brother and his friends. I scraped the skin off both knuckles, but it was worth it as my team won by 2 points. Woot!! XD

Easter is coming up this weekend, but I don't know what my family is doing yet this year. We usually have a BBQ at someone's house, but it's still pretty chilly outside...

...but yay! It's snowing! I guess I only like snow when I have the chance to snowboard on it, lol. Double yay for free internet in every room XD

The drive up here was not too bad. It snowed a little bit, but no sleet. My car is still being a piece of crap so dad let me take his car. I'm sharing a room with Charlotte *pokes her*, but between partying, snowboarding, and keeping an eye on my brother and his friends I don't spend much time in my room, lol.

Good runs here. It's like gliding on air. I haven't been to Wolf Mountain for a long time, but I think I may come here more often... there's also tons of cute guys here XD

Jill and Wesker's Matrix makeovers made me roll my eyes on more than one occasion.

Chris' parting line to Wesker made me roll my eyes again, but cheesy ass dialogue is to be expected in a Resident Evil game.

The AI was... okay. Playing as Sheva sucks though (AI wise). Chris is always in the freaking way or dawdling somewhere. There should've been "boot Chris in the ass and tell him to fucking move" and "tell Chris to hurry the fuck up" options XD. It's definitely better if you have someone to play with so you don't have to rely on the AI. The game became MUCH easier when my mom arrived to help me blow away enemies, lol.

There were no real scares in this game. RE4 at least had the Regenerators who made me piss myself on more than one occasion. Btw, have you seen their eyeballs? Crazy twitching all over the place!

On the upside the graphics were freaking amazing and I actually did enjoy the game. Also... Chris... :p~ Sheva... <3 Jill X3

I was also just glad that they didn't incorporate too much from the awful movies into the game. When they announced that they planned to do that I nearly shriveled up and died inside... XD

On a completely unrelated note... snowboarding trip tomorrow!!! :D

...no Spring Break! However, I'm not going to bitch too loudly. As this year I am lucky and can basically work when it's convenient for me soooo... I'm taking off for Spring Break this year. Going to get one last run in before spring hits the mountains and it becomes too dangerous to snowboard. I do have to (somewhat) supervise my younger brother and his friends on this trip, but my friends are coming too so (again) I won't bitch too loudly XD

So because my car decided to be a piece of shit and die I've been taking the bus to work. The bus is always very crowded in the morning and since I'm nice I usually stand and let the little old ladies have the seats.

So yesterday I'm standing on said busy bus when a guy boards. He's about my age, perhaps a few years older, and is clearly higher than a kite. As per my usual luck he decides to squish in beside me. He's roughly my height and breathing hard enough to make my hair move. I turn slightly away from him and grimace at the front of the bus as it gets rolling again.

Then, he speaks to me. And I quote: "Your hair smells like toilet paper, blondie. Not used toilet paper of course. New toilet paper. Like when you first open it and it has that nice clean and kinda flowery smell. Yeah..."

My response: "............Thanks."

Old lady sitting behind us: "*snortgiggle*"

Not into the Twilight fandom at all. I only found out the author's name a few days ago. But a lot of people seem to like poking fun at "sparkly vampires" and Selphie just had to address such a blatant lack of respect these vampires had for her XD

I discovered what happened to Reno after Advent Children. He got a sex change, changed his name, and hopped over to a different franchise!!

I swear if my dogs could talk the only thing they'd say would be "lolololololololololol!!". Well, Kuma's would be a more sophisticated "el oh el", but same basic message XD

The path down into the ravine was finally safe for foot travel so I let the dogs out this afternoon... Stevie and Kita must have run that path twenty or so times in a row. Kuma, ever the 'stiff upper lip' gentleman, walked down the path and back only about four times.

Stevie also brought me a dead mangled squirrel. Aww... *ralphs* XD;;

Thanks to Balthier I now write "their" as "thier" and don't even realize that I'm doing it. So my spellcheck hates me now. I made it explode with all the unknowingly typed "thier"s XD

Also, holiday today! WOO! :D

You know... I've always wondered... wtf are the "chops" in Archades? Because the only "chops" I know are porkchops so I keep imagining little pieces of wood in the shape of porkchops LOL!

I hate surveys and memes so I don't take them very often, but once in a while I will take one just so people can get to know me a little better. I took this particular survey a while ago, but I try and update it every year. I warn you, it's long and random.

And I've never really appreciated the sheer level of detail in this game until now. Once I actually stopped and looked around a shop or a tavern I was amazed by all the little neat things you could see on the shelves, the fireflies in the Barheim Passage, the fish in the ocean by Arcades, that lovely little island you can see in the Cerobi Steppe. I never appreciated the extent of the little details in FFXII.

The only thing that bugs me is Fran's village seems to be really out of place in the Golmore Jungle. The jungle is dark and ominous and has a completely different color scheme than the village which is light and airy. I thought it better suited to the Salikawood.

Also, has anyone else had Balthier go nuts whenever Vaan or Fran are hit? It happens all the time no matter what kind of weapon Balthier has. If Vaan or Fran gets hit Balthier will go all crazy on the monster and hit it 3-4 times. I'm wondering if XII has affection levels like the previous games had? Or maybe it's an easter egg that Square worked in? I don't know. Either way it's cute when Balthier gets all indignant at the monsters for hitting his friends XD;;;

It's been a long, hard, emotionally exhausting, busy month but we all survived. Dad and Auron's physical wounds have pretty much healed. Mom still can't do anything too strenuous, but she is also getting better.

Auron is still skittish about being in vehicles. He was getting ready for his first in-car driving lessons before the accident, but now he's decided to put it off for now which I think is best. He's also seeing a counselor and that seems to be helping as well.

It was all hard on Shannon. She's in a clingy phase and didn't understand why mom and dad couldn't hold her and she didn't want Bliss or myself as a substitute. It was really hard on mam hearing both Shannon and the twins crying because they wanted to be held. But mom was able to hold Shannon on her lap for twenty minutes or so today and Dad still can't lift the kids, but he's able to have them cuddle in his lap too. So progress is being made there as well.

So while I won't be as active as I used to be I'm still "back" and I'm working (slowly) on some of my fics again.
